NYC is convenient because no matter where you work or live you can pretty much always find some great happy hour deals near you or near the closest subway station.
Here are some great happy hours in Midtown East that are worth checking out!
Gyu Kaku is a great place to gather with friends or co-workers, and their happy hour is fantastic! They offer $5 cocktails and beers and discounts on different types of sake. They also have a number of meals and appetizers at discounted happy hour prices, like a Spicy Tuna Volcano Roll for $6. The specials run everyday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This fabulous cocktail bar located right on 5th Avenue has one of the best happy hours in all of Manhattan! It runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. everyday and features special appetizers and low-cost drinks. Order a mojito and sit back and relax – you’ll feel like you’ve escaped to a tropical resort!
If you like Thai food, OBAO consistently gets rated one of the best food and drink joints in midtown. Located on 53rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Ave, it offers $2 appetizers, $1 shots and $2 beers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. everyday. It has a fun and laid-back ambiance, and is a great place for groups to gather!
If you’re just looking for a spot for great drink deals, check out Draught 55 on 55th Street between 2nd and 3rd Ave. They have an awesome happy hour with $5 house wine, $5 well drinks and $5 select drafts – and they have a killer beer list. Great spot for a casual hangout with your colleagues after a long day at work.
